French Toast This Morning—Not Completely Yeast Free

I felt like something different this morning for breakfast. So, I decided to have French toast, using gluten free bread (not yeast free). I used my Trader Joe’s Almond nog in the recipe, too. It turned out great!

So good!
Ingredients:

2 eggs
1/4 cup Trader Joe’s Almond Nog
1 tsp. vanilla
5 slices Udi’s Gluten Free Sandwich Bread
Butter and Maple Sugar to taste

Directions:

Mix together the first three ingredients in a bowl that will accommodate the bread.  Dip the bread into the mixture.  Turn the bread over and repeat.  Spray a pan with non stick spray. Using medium heat, place bread into the pan.  Watch it for 1-2 minutes.  Flip when it is golden.  Leave in pan another 1-2 minutes.  When a golden color, remove from pan. Repeat the process with the remaining slices of bread.  Top with butter and maple syrup.  Enjoy!
