Our Parents’ Legacy of Love

I found out many things the past few weeks as my sister and I go through boxes at my parents’ house.  We have founds their weddings photos, honeymoon photos, and many more pictures we have never seen before now.  One of the sweetest things by far have been the notes my dad left my mom before he went to work each day.  He always ended the notes with, “Kiss my babies for me.”  They were so full of love, it is no wonder my mom kept them.  When going through some boxes of my mom’s, we found special identical dresses that my mom sewed for my sister and I.  I know that she could never bear to part with those little dresses.  We both walked out of the house feeling so loved by our parents yesterday.  There is no better feeling than that.
