Book Review—Love the One You’re With by Emily Giffin

Love the One You’re With by Emily Giffin is a perfect summer read.  It was published in 2008 and is a standalone novel.  This romance is about a newlywed, Ellen, who runs into her old boyfriend, Leo, during a rainstorm in New York City.  They have coffee together and try as she might, Ellen can’t forget about Leo.  Ellen’s husband, Andy, loves her very much.  He is a lawyer, and he and Ellen soon move to Atlanta where Andy becomes a partner in his dad’s law firm.  Ellen struggles with the move, and when Leo contacts her for a business proposition, well, I don’t want to spoil the book for you.  This book touches on the themes of commitment and the true tests of love.
