Book Reviews—The Bromance Book Club & Undercover Bromance by Lyssa Kay Adams

If you want some light humorous reading with some romance, these two books are for you.  I listened to both of these books on the Libby app from the Orange County Library System.  The books were easy to keep up with in the audio form.

If you are going to read these books, begin with The Bromance Book Club.  It is the first in the series.  The Nashville Legends baseball team has a secret.  The players have a book club, and they read romances to help each other out with their marriages.  One of the players, Gavin Scott, and his wife, Thea, are at the brink of divorce.  Gavin is desperately trying to save his marriage to Thea.  Gavin is invited to a meeting, and finds out about the book club. Gavin tries to win back Thea’s trust with the help of the guys.

The second book in the series is Undercover Bromance.  This book focuses on book club member, Braden Mack, who is single and thinks he is an expert in the areas of love and romance.  When Gaven Scott’s sister-in-law, Liv, is fired from her job as a sous chef, Braden a nightclub owner, offers his assistance, along with the Bromance Book Club.

Lyssa Kay Adams’ third installment of the series, Crazy Stupid Bromance, will be published on October 27, 2020.
