Wow!! The Silent Patient is an amazing thriller! I read the book in two days. The chapters are short, and the book is fast-paced. Author Alex Michaelides weaves a tale around Alicia Berenson, a famous painter who shoots and kills her husband, Gabriel, a photographer, and then becomes mute.
Theo Faber, a criminal psychotherapist, becomes Alicia’s therapist. He is given the task of trying to get Alicia to talk once more.
This book is full of twists and turns, and will keep you on your toes until the very end. If you enjoy thrillers, you have to read The Silent Patient.
