Book Reviews—More Holiday Reading!

I’m wrapping up my holiday reading reviews today. I enjoyed The Twelve Dates of Christmas and In a Holidaze so much!

The Twelve Dates of Christmas by Jenny Bayliss

The Twelve Dates of Christmas is the author’s debut novel. Thirty-four-year-old single Kate Turner lives in Blexford, England. Her best friend signs her up for a dating service that is planning twelve dates for participants to find love before the holidays. Each chapter centers around a date, plus much more. We learn about Kate’s career and side-job, as well as Blexford’s extensive Christmas celebrations. I recommend this uplifting holiday romance.

In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren

I have read and enjoyed many novels by the duo of Christina Lauren. In a Holidaze is no exception. This novel is the story of Maelyn Jones, who has a wish for this Christmas. Stuck in a dead-end job, Maelyn travels with her family to meet extended family and lifelong friends, the Hollis family, for Christmas at the Hollis’s cabin in Park City, Utah. With a touch of magic, this Christmas novel has all of the elements of the holidays, as well as romance. I highly recommend this sweet romance for the holidays.
