Today is a special day to celebrate Earth, our home. There is so much beauty around us every day. I know that I could be doing more to help our planet’s issues. Our county has a recycling program that I faithfully use. When I taught, my classroom always recycled paper, water bottles, etc. I donate clothes and household items instead of disposing of them for others to reuse. One thing I could start doing is using reusable bags when I grocery shop. I have never gotten into the habit of doing that. So, I’m going to make that my new commitment for this Earth Day.
