I loved Shiver by Allie Reynolds. It is Ms. Reynolds’ debut novel and a thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The author was once a competitive snowboarder, so the skiing scenes are expertly written. Five friends reunite in the French alps at a ski lodge after years of separation. One they arrive, mysterious events begin to happen. The book has strong female characters; Milla was my favorite.
I received Shiver through my Once Upon a Book Club subscription. They send you a copy of the book, a bookmark, a quote card, a book club discussion guide as well as 3-4 presents to open at various pages throughout the book. It makes reading just that much more fun! Just so you know, Shiver is available anywhere you purchase books.
