Slow Cooker Garlic Expressions Cheesy Chicken Pasta

I love cooking with the slow cooker! It is so versatile and you can put your own spin on so many recipes. My sister and I love Garlic Expressions salad dressing so much. One night my sister said that she was thinking of putting a bottle of Garlic Expressions into a pasta dish we had been making to see if we liked the change. Well, we both loved it!! So voilà! This recipe became Slow Cooker Garlic Expressions Cheesy Chicken Pasta!

Slow Cooker Garlic Expressions Cheesy Chicken Pasta—8 Servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 4 hours

Ingredients:
Add these ingredients after cooking time is completed:
  • 16 oz. of gluten-free rigatoni or gemelli pasta
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  1. Add the chicken breasts to the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the Garlic Expressions dressing over the chicken. Make sure all of the garlic cloves come out of the bottle to add to the flavor!
  3. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese and pepper on top of the chicken and dressing.
  4. Place the block of cream cheese on top.
  5. Place the lid on the slow cooker. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 5-6 hours.
  6. When the cooking time is almost complete, begin cooking the pasta on the stove top as directed on the package.
  7. When done, shred the chicken with 2 forks. Drain the pasta and add to the chicken and sauce. Stir. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese on top.
This pasta is so delicious and easy to make. Prep time is just 5 minutes, besides boiling the pasta! This would be a great meal to come home to in any season! A side simple side salad or steamed broccoli would pair well with this pasta. I hope you will try this recipe. Also, if you haven’t tried Garlic Expressions dressing, you need to do so. It is our go-to dressing on our salads now. Enjoy!
