The House Plant—A Short Story by Jeremy Ray

Author Jeremy Ray asked me to read and review his short story, The House Plant, and I’m so happy he didI loved this story.  Reading it was forty minutes of pure bliss. The House Plant is a heartwarming story about the friendship between George, a fern, and Brenda, his owner. The story is told from the point of view of George. I really connected with this story on many levels, especially with the way George handles his grief. Just know that when you finish the story, you will feel uplifted. I will never look at plants the same way again. And, I guarantee, if your plants need to be watered, when you finish the story, you will fill your watering can and will delight in watering them.

The House Plant by Jeremy Ray is available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle format. It is also free if you have a subscription to KindleUnlimited. Jeremy also hosts a podcast, Nobody Reads Short Stories, which can be found on all of the major streaming services, including You Tube. Each week he and his co-host, Megan Morrison, feature a new short story and the author.

I highly recommend that you read The House Plant by Jeremy Ray.
