Book Review—The Siren by Katherine St. John

The Siren by Katherine St. John is a suspenseful mystery with an old Hollywood feel. Actress Stella Rivers used to be one of Hollywood’s most sought-after actresses. She was even married to handsome Cole Power, a Hollywood heartthrob. However Stella’s marriage to Cole was short lived, and she fell into obscurity. Now Cole is assembling a group together on a Caribbean island to film his new movie, The Siren. Cole has asked Stella to be his romantic interest in the movie. In addition, there is Taylor, a producer who is hoping The Siren will get her career back on track, and Felicity, Stella’s mysterious assistant. The book is told from the points of view of all of the main characters I have mentioned, which adds to the suspense.

This book blurb has called The Siren an escapist thriller. I think that description is fitting. If you want to escape to a mysterious Caribbean island, add The Siren by Katherine St. John to your book list!
