If you can only read one holiday book this season, I highly recommend The Santa Suit by Mary Kay Andrews.
I have read two of Ms. Andrews’ summer/beach novels and have enjoyed them, but The Santa Suit is my favorite.
Newly divorced Ivy Perkins buys an old farmhouse sight unseen. It is a little more dilapidated than it looked in the online photos. To her chagrin, Ivy also finds that the owner left much of their outdated furniture in the house. But one special item Ivy found in the attic was an old Santa suit. It included a handwritten note which sparks a mystery that Ivy begins to solve.
This novel has all of the feelings you would expect during the magical season of Christmas. Ivy is an endearing character as she begins to heal and begin a new life at Four Roses Farm.
