The One You’re With is the first novel I have read by Lauren K. Denton. It won’t be the last. Ms. Denton writes romance novels that are set in the south. If you enjoy Southern Fiction, you may want to check out her novels.
The One You’re With, published in 2021, is set in Oak Hill, Alabama. Edie and Mac Swan met as children and have been married for years. Edie is an interior design and Mac is a pediatrician. They have two children. This is a story of how a marriage can be rocked by past mistakes. Can their marriage survive broken trust and deep hurt?
