Bury Your Dead is the 6th book in the Chief Inspector Armand Gamache series. This book was published in September, 2010. I listened to the audiobook, which was excellent.
This particular book has three plots. Armand Gamache is in Quebec City recovering from a case in which the reader knows he was injured. While recuperating, Gamache gets involved in a murder that concerns the search for Samuel de Champlain’s (Quebec’s founder) remains. In addition, Olivier’s case from The Brutal Telling is reopened.
Bury Your Dead is suspenseful right up to the end. Armand Gamache is at his best. I enjoyed this book; it is one of my favorites in the series so far.
