Book Review—Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie

Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie is the tenth book in her Hercule Poirot series. It was originally published on January 1, 1934. All of the books in this series can be read as standalone books.

This novel takes place on the Orient Express, which is traveling from Istanbul to London. The train becomes trapped in a snowdrift in Croatia and is cut-off from the outside world. When a murder is committed on the train, all of the passengers on the train are suspects and are also trapped on the train with a murderer.

Murder on the Orient Express has stood the test of time. It is as relevant today as it was in 1934. Hercule Poirot is the perfect investigative detective. There have been many movies made of the novel, the most recent in 2017, which can be rented on Amazon Prime.

The next Agatha Christie novel I’m going to read is And Then There Were None

I’m rating Murder on the Orient Express:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
