Book Review—Weather Girl by Rachel Lynn Solomon

Weather Girl by Rachel Lynn Solomon is a cute romantic comedy set in a Seattle newsroom. Ari Abrams is a TV meteorologist, who has recently ended her engagement. She loves her job and works under her idol, Torrance Hale. (By the way, the book is full of weather puns/humor, so you just have to love the character’s name, Torrance Hale.) The newsroom is run by Hale’s ex-husband, so there is a lot of tension at the workplace. Ari teams up with sports reporter, Russell, to try to help Torrance and her ex mend their relationship.

Even though Ari has a sunshiny personality, she suffers from depression. The author does an excellent job of incorporating that topic into the story. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator, Sarah Mollo-Christensen was great.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Rachel Lynn Solomon is also the author of The Ex Talk (My review is linked for you.)
