A Trick of the Light is the 7th book in Louise Penny’s Chief Inspector Armand Gamache series. Again, the story is set in Three Pines, Quebec with all of the familiar characters back to solve another mystery.
Clara Morrow has a successful art exhibition in town. However, the next day someone is found murdered in Clara’s garden. Armand Gamache has another investigation on his hands. Of course, delicious food and drink is always part of each novel, along with interesting characters.
If you haven’t started to read this series, you should do yourself a huge favor and get a copy of Still Life by Louise Penny. It is the first in the series, and the books need to be read in order. So far there are 17 books in the series. The 18th, A World of Curiosities, will be released on November 29th of this year.
