Book Review—Nora Goes Off Script by Annabel Monaghan

I loved Nora Goes Off Script by Annabel Monaghan. Published in June of 2022, this book is perfect for summer reading.

Nora Hamilton has been writing romance screenplays for a television channel. Her husband, Ben, leaves her and her children, and that motivates Nora to write the best screenplay of her life. It is picked up by a big movie production company, and it is actually filmed on location on her property. It is then that Nora meets Leo Vance, a former Sexiest Man Alive and the star of the movie.

Author Annabel Monaghan developed the characters of Nora and Leo so beautifully. Nora’s children are also funny and endearing, too. Nora’s home and property are described so well, the reader almost feels like they are there, especially at sunrise.

Nora Goes Off Script has received a lot of buzz this summer, and I can see why. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator, Hillary Huber, was excellent. Do yourself a favor and get a copy of Nora Goes Off Script this summer.
