Book Review—The Lies I Tell by Julie Clark

The Lies I Tell by Julie Clark was one of my Book of the Month selections in June of this year. It is a fantastic thriller! You may remember that Julie Clark’s The Last Flight (my review linked) was extremely popular last summer and was on the New York Times Best Sellers list.

The Lies I Tell focuses on the character of Meg Williams. She is a con artist and has many aliases, as she has been conning people for years. One of those people she conned is Kat Roberts, a reporter, who is trying to expose Meg. This is a twisty thriller; once you think you have everything figured out, you find out you don’t! The author expertly develops the characters of Meg and Kat. The point of view of the story moves between the two women and also between their pasts and the present.

I highly recommend this face-paced thriller!
