The Love of My Life by Rosie Walsh was GMA’s Book Club selection in March of 2022. It is a suspenseful mystery/thriller that is a quick read, or in my case, listen.
The characters of Emma and Leo, a married couple, along with their daughter, Ruby, are such likable characters. The book is told from both Emma’s and Leo’s points of view, which helps the reader know each character well. Leo, through his job, stumbles upon some information about Emma that is quite startling. The novel keeps you engaged to find out what is happening. As I mentioned earlier, I listened to the audiobook, and it was quite difficult to stop listening since each chapter ends with a cliffhanger.
If you like suspenseful mysteries/thrillers, The Love of My Life is for you.
