Book Review—Two Nights in Lisbon by Chris Pavone

Imagine being newly married and waking in your hotel room in Lisbon, Portugal to discover your husband has vanished. That is what happened to Ariel Pryce in the newest thriller/mystery from Chris Pavone, Two Nights in Portugal. This book was published in May of 2022. I listened to the audiobook, which was expertly narrated by January LaVoy.

The tension that develops with the main character, Ariel, in trying to find her husband in a foreign country, keeps the reader completely engaged. Ariel desperately wants to locate her husband, John Wright. There are many twists and turns in this novel, and the novel’s international setting lends itself to the nonstop intrigue. I could not stop listening to the book.

This is the first novel I have read by Chris Pavone. He has written four other novels that I would love to read. They are:

The Expats (Kate Moore #1) 2012

The Accident 2015

The Travelers 2016

The Paris Diversion (Kate Moore #2) 2019

If you love a thriller combined with mystery and suspense, Two Nights in Portugal is the perfect novel for you to read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
