Book Review—The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood

The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood is a delightful contemporary romance. I loved the characters and the fact that the women in the novel were all in STEM and working toward their Ph.D’s in their scientific fields. This book would be inspiring to any college-age woman in a STEM field as far as showing commitment to work, applying for internships, along with, of course, romance. The book is full of humor (just look at the eyes of  the man on the cover) and likable characters. This was the first book I ever read by Ali Hazelwood, and it won’t be the last. I just purchased her newest novel, Love on the Brain from Book of the Month this month.

There has been a lot of hype about this book, and in this case, the hype is the real thing. There are 697,000+ ratings on Goodreads averaging a 4.3 out of 5.0 for The Love Hypothesis. I’m adding my 5-star rating to that number now!
