Best Pumpkin French Toast Ever!

This Pumpkin French Toast recipe from Orchids + Sweet Tea (recipe is linked) is perfect for the fall season. I made it for breakfast this morning. What a treat!

This recipe comes together easily, and you probably have most of the ingredients at home. I used Trader Joe’s Sliced French Brioche bread and it was the star of the recipe. I also toasted pecans (keep the pecans whole; bake at 350° F for 5-10 min.; then chop). This added to the flavor. Along with pumpkin puree, this batter has a secret ingredient, maple syrup, which also makes this recipe special. Once done add a little butter, maple syrup, toasted pecans and a bit of whipped cream on top, and you have a few slices of heaven on your plate!
