I received my October Book of the Month box earlier this week! So excited to read these novels!
Hester by Laurie Luci Albanese—Isobel Gamble meets author Nathaniel Hawthorne in Salem, Massachusetts in the early 1800’s in this imagined story of the writer’s early life. The literary writing in this novel is supposed to be amazing.
Killers of a Certain Age by Deanna Raybourn—Four retired 60-something assassins go for a cruise, but soon realize they are in danger. This sounds like a fun read!
The Kiss Curse by Erin Sterling—This is the follow-up novel of Ms. Sterling’s The Ex Hex. Gwyn Jones and Wells Penhallow are back again in this bewitching tale. Perfect for October reading!
