Earlier this year I read and reviewed Alafair Burke’s Find Me (review linked). It was such an awesome thriller that I wanted to read more of her work. The Wife, published in 2018, is another thriller that I listened to compulsively. If you are a reader, you know that means something like—“Oh, it’s 2:00 pm. I love this book so much, I forgot to eat lunch!”
Angela meets Jason, an economics professor at NYU. They marry, even though she has a secret past, and he is quite scandalous. This book is riveting! The author continues to take you deeper and deeper into the lives if Angela and Jason. Part IV of the book is full of twists! You have to read this book! The audiobook is excellent.
