I received my Book of the Month box on Tuesday of this week. I’m so happy that they are always timely with their orders. With Hurricane/Tropical Storm Nicole coming our way, we did not get mail delivery on Thursday and none on Friday due to Veterans Day holiday. I spent Tuesday and Wednesday on prep, plus taking sweet Milo for his 3rd surgery. He had to stay at the animal hospital on Wednesday night, and I picked him up on Thursday afternoon. He is doing so well! I’m so thankful for his surgeons. The Internal Medicine and Surgery teams saved his life.

The Cloisters by Katy Hays—Gothic Fiction
Book of the Month describes it as “Supernatural, Academic, NYC and Glamorous.”
Signal Fires by Dani Shapiro—Literary Fiction
Book of the Month describes it as “Multiple Viewpoints, Slow Build, Nonlinear Timeline and Sad.”
I hope to start reading them soon. I’m also getting my holiday books ready to read this year. I’ll be sharing them with you in advance.
