April Reading Wrap-up!

I really enjoyed all of the books I read in April. I’ll be reviewing them throughout the month of May.

The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave—Published in May, 2021, this book had been on my list to read for a long time. Read it and then watch the AppleTV+ series staring Jennifer Garner. (Hardback)

All the Devils are Here by Louise Penny—This is the 16th book in the series. It is set in Paris, which is a departure from the rest of the novels starring Armand Gamache. (Audiobook)

The Bullet That Missed by Richard Osman—This is the 3rd book in the Thursday Murder Club series. All of them are great mysteries with endearing characters. (Audiobook)

Romantic Comedy by Curtis Sittenfeld—If you enjoy romantic comedy, you will love this book! Main character Sally works as a comedy writer at a SNL-type show. This book is funny as well as charming! (Hardback)

Adelaide by Genevieve Wheeler—Adelaide is Ms. Wheeler’s debut novel. Set in London, this novel explores a toxic relationship between a young couple. It is relatable, raw, and hopeful. (Hardback)

The Lonely Hearts Book Club by Lucy Gilmore—Heartwarming book about a librarian and a curmudgeonly man who visits the library weekly. If you enjoy books, you will enjoy this novel. (Audiobook)

A Flicker in the Dark by Stacy Willingham—Published in January, 2022, A Flicker in the Dark is Ms. Willingham’s debut novel. It is an excellent thriller about a woman trying to escape her past.

Right now I am reading Happy Place by Emily Henry (Romance) and listening to The House Is on Fire by Rachel Beanland (Historical Fiction). I’m loving both of them!
