The Bullet That Missed by Richard Osman is the third book in the Thursday Murder Club Mystery series. I would recommend reading the series in order because of the introduction and progression of the main characters. You would start with the first book, The Thursday Murder Club.
This series is great! Several septuagenarians form The Thursday Murder Club at their retirement center in their town of Coopers Chase. In this book, they are trying to solve the cold case of a journalist, Bethany Waite, who was said to have committed suicide by driving her car off a cliff. However her body was never found.
As always, Osman’s books are humorous and well-written. The mysteries are great and fun to read. I listened to the audiobook, and the narration was outstanding.
