Book Review—Drowning by T.J. Newman

After her great success with her debut novel, Falling, T.J. Newman has written another suspenseful thriller, Drowning. This novel concerns itself with a downed airplane in the Pacific Ocean

Flight 1421 has taken off from Honolulu to San Francisco when it has engine failure. Within six minutes, the plane has crashed into the Pacific Ocean. Without spoiling anything for you, Drowning is all about the rescue of Flight 1421. This book will have you on the edge of your seat! The author does an excellent job with the backstories of the characters, which allows the reader to connect with the passengers on the plane. I listened to the audiobook and the narration by Steven Weber (Wings) and Laura Bananti is excellent.

I highly recommend this thrilling book! It is a standalone novel; not a sequel. Drowning and Falling are both going to be movies, too.

Enjoy!
