Book Review—Summer Stage by Meg Mitchell Moore

I have enjoyed reading Meg Mitchell Moore books the  past two summers. When I picked up Summer Stage to read this summer, I was hoping it would a delightful read, and it most definitely was. 

Summer Stage is set on Block Island and concerns a family of actors. Timothy Fleming, a famous actor, decides to do a summer run at a Block Island theater. He talks his sister Amy into being his production manager. Amy’s daughter, Sam, ends up in Block Island, too, making the summer a family affair.

This is a light summer read with just the right amount of drama. If you enjoy character-driven beach or coastal reads, Summer Stage is for you.
