Parents Weekend is the fifth novel I have read by Alex Finlay. It is a suspenseful mystery/thriller set on a private college campus in northern California. It is “parents weekend” and five of the families are planning to have a delightful dinner with their freshman children. That is until the children don’t show up for dinner. At first the parents shrug it off to the kids losing track of time, etc. However when none of the kids answer texts after hours have passed, the parents start to panic.
This book is told with multiple POVs as the story unravels between the past and present. There are a host of characters in the story, as well as a reappearance of Agent Sarah Keller from Every Last Fear.
I enjoyed this lighter mystery from Alex Finlay. It was well-paced with plenty of thrills.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
