Great Big Beautiful Life is one of my favorite Emily Henry books. Two authors are competing for a chance to write a memoir of a reclusive heiress, Margaret Ives. Alice, one of the writers, is very personable and is looking for her first big break. The other author, Hayden, is a brooding individual who just published his first Pulitzer Prize winning novel. Both have signed NDA’s, but share bits and pieces of their meetings with Ms. Ives over dinner and drinks most days.
That is the basic plot, but there is much more going on in this book. The ending is magnificent. Highly recommend!
