Never in a million years would I have ever thought I would be doing a book stack on opioid addiction. But I am because I lost my precious 28-year-old nephew to the opioid crisis on July 23, 2015. This disease can strike anyone; it does not discriminate. My book stack contains three hardback books I have in my home library about addiction. I also have Beautiful Boy: A Father’s Journey Through His Son’s Addiction by David Sheff on my Kindle.
