Happy Summer!! People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry is a fun beach read. It is about college friends Poppy and Alex. Poppy is based in New York City and goes around the world with her job as a travel writer. Alex lives in Ohio and is a high school teacher. They manage to vacation together every summer, until they don’t. There is plenty of cute banter between the two characters throughout the novel. Although their relationship can be a bit far-fetched at times, all-in-all People We Meet on Vacation is a delightful summer book.
