Book Review—Musical Chairs by Amy Poeppel

I loved Musical Chairs by Amy Poeppel. It is a delightful novel, and I will definitely be reading more of Ms. Poeppel’s work. This book was published in July, 2020, and it is a perfect summer read!

Bridget is so excited to spend the summer in her country home in Connecticut (that needs a lot of TLC) with her boyfriend, Sterling. However, that plan abruptly changes, and what was her empty nest becomes full. Bridget, along with her best friend, Will, is part of a chamber group, The Forsyth Trio. However, the trio has become a duo, and they are feverishly looking for a new violinist.

This book is humorous, sentimental, and full of music. If you are a musical person in any way, you will relate to this book. This book is very much like playing “musical chairs,” hence the title. You never quite know what is going to happen next, but the outcome is joyful.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
