Last Friday, my sister and I went to Long and Scott Farms in Mt. Dora, Florida. It is about an hour’s drive from Orlando. We loved the farm! They sell all types of fresh produce. The farm has fresh goat cheese, as well as squash, tomatoes, sweet corn and their specialty cucumbers. This time of year they have beautiful fall pumpkin displays and plenty of places for photo opportunities. Inside their Market, they have homemade jams, apple butter, pumpkin butter, and even pecan pumpkin butter. I bought Sweet Chili Sauce and Vidalia Onion Relish. They have all types of hot sauces and salad dressings, too! This is a great place to shop for holiday presents. In addition, they have a reasonably priced Cafe. Lunch was delicious! I had their corn chowder, a chicken salad sandwich, and potato salad. The pickle they served with lunch was one of their specialty pickles! Just awesome! They also have a Corn Maze that is open on Saturdays and Sundays through December 8th. Long and Scott Farms is a perfect weekend outing for all!
