CrateChef Boxes are a Hit!!

I received my Christmas present to myself this week—the Dec./Jan. CrateChef box!!  This is the second box I have purchased.  They are a must for anyone who loves to cook!!  Each box features a celebrity chef, cookbook author, food blogger, etc.  The box contains items that reflect that chef’s style of cooking.  The items contained in the box are very high quality.

This month’s box features Tieghan Gerard, who writes the Half Baked Harvest blog.  The box contained her new cookbook, Super Simple.  I was so excited to get a copy.  It contains 125 recipes, and the photography is gorgeous!  The remainder of the items in the box are used to create the four recipes she features from her cookbook.  The box contains Lundberg Family Farms Wild Rice Blend, Bob’s Red Mill Unsweetened Coconut, Bella Cucina Fresh Basil Pesto, and Smoked Paprika.  In addition, the box contains a Staub Olivewood and Silicone Spatula.  It is beautiful!  The box even includes two $1 off coupons for any Bob’s Red Mill product and any Lundberg product.

To order a box, just go to the CrateChef website.  Tieghan Gerard’s box is still available, and if you order by tomorrow (Friday, December 20th) you can get it by Christmas!  You can also get a box subscription. Boxes are mailed every other month; you are able to skip months, too!

Tieghan Gerard’s CrateChef Box

Briefly, the first box I ordered featured Jessica Merchant, author of the How Sweet Eats blog.  This box is sold out.  But I wanted you to see how this box totally reflects Jessica’s cooking.  She included Nativas Organic Chia Seeds to make Overnight Autumn Breakfast Quinoa.  To make her famous Lavender Vanilla Latte, she included Culinary Grade Lavender.  (Plus, her box smelled heavenly from the lavender!). Rodelle Vanilla Bean Paste was included to make her Chocolate Pumpkin Pie, and McClary Brothers Apple Pie Cider Vinegar was incorporated to use in the dressing for her Winter Crunch Salad.  Jessica’s box also included a Glass Honey Jar with Dipper, an Oxo Garlic Press, and a set of four cheese knives.  All of these items were high quality.  Her box also included recipe cards and tips for making a holiday cheese board.  There were also coupons for $3 off of a Navitas product with a recipe for Coconut Chia pudding and some additional recipes using the McClary Bros. Apple Pie Vinegar.

I received no compensation for this review of CrateChef products.  I just wanted to share my love for the CrateChef boxes in hope they might spark some additional fun in your cooking!!  Enjoy!!
