Ok, One to Watch by Kate Stayman-London is the perfect summer beach read. I’m in Florida, but I’m not going to the beach because of COVID. But, I can sit on my patio and read and pretend to be at the beach, right? So that is how I read most of this delightful book.
One to Watch is a humorous romance focusing on Bea Schumacher’s, a plus-sized fashion blogger, journey to find love on Main Squeeze, a reality tv show. What I like about the book is the fact that author Kate Stayman-London describes Bea’s struggles with her appearance and her deepest fears about finding love. When producer manipulation is thrown into the mix, the reader sees Bea recover and develop the strength needed to find true love.
The book is highly entertaining, and it is a difficult book to put down once you start reading. If you enjoy lighthearted chick-lit with a strong female character, you will love One to Watch.
