First Comes Love by Emily Giffin was published in June of 2016. I listened to this romance novel from the Orange County Library System using the Libby app. I enjoyed this novel about two sisters Josie and Meredith Garland. The sister are so different, which leads them to clash on many occasions. Meredith is married with a daughter, a part-time lawyer, and a Type A personality. Josie is a free-spirit, a 1st grade teacher, and wants to be a mother more than anything in the world. A tragedy struck the Garland family 15 years earlier. The sisters are still harboring grief, guilt, and secrets from this occurrence. This book is ultimately about forgiveness and accepting personal responsibility for your actions.
