Book Review—The Lost and Found Bookshop by Susan Wiggs

The Lost and Found Bookshop by Susan Wiggs, published in July of 2020, is such a sweet novel. Set in present day San Francisco, the book follows Natalie Harper through many life changes. Natalie inherits a bookstore in a historical San Francisco neighborhood. However, the bookstore is in need of many repairs, and it is not financially sound. Natalie hires contractor Peach Gallagher to help her with the repairs, and she embarks on many ideas to try to save the bookstore financially.  Natalie is also the caretaker of her grandfather, Grandy, who has the beginnings of Alzheimer’s Disease. The book is full of mystery, romance, and Peach’s daughter, Dorothy, is an added treat to the story.

I listened to the audio version of this book from the Orange County Library System  in Orlando, Florida on the Libby App. If you enjoy novels about books and bookshops, then The Lost and Found Bookshop is for you! Another book I would like to read by Susan Wiggs is The Oysterville Sewing Circle, which was published in 2019.
