Book Review—Nothing to See Here by Kevin Wilson

Nothing to See Here by Kevin Wilson is absolutely hilarious. The book was published in October, 2019 and was a Jenna’s Book Club selection. The main character, Lillian, aside from being so likable, is searching for meaning in her life. When her estranged best friend, Madison, calls her desperate for a favor, Lillian agrees to help. Lillian is now in charge of watching Madison’s two twin stepchildren, who happen to spontaneously combust when they become agitated. Yes, you read that correctly, spontaneously combust. Kevin Wilson’s writing is ingenious in the way he writes about the children, Bessie and Roland. You would think that spontaneously combusting children is just another daily thing to overcome. Everything about this book is humorous, but it is also heartwarming. I listened to the audio version of Nothing to See Here, and it is one of the best I have listened to thus far. It is the perfect book to end 2020 with; it will have you laughing out loud.  I highly recommend Nothing to See Here by Kevin Wilson.
