Book Reviews—The Winter Series by Elin Hilderbrand

I read all four novels in Elin Hilderbrand’s Winter Series this year. I absolutely loved this series of books. All of the novels are set in Nantucket and there is a wintery Christmas feeling as you read them. The books tell the story of the Quinn family, their highs and lows, but also their love for each other. The novels feature the annual Nantucket Christmas Stroll, which sadly had to be postponed in real life this year. Santa is a huge part of the books, as well as the charming Kelly Quinn who owns and operates the Winter Street Inn where the family gathers each Christmas.  We are also introduced to the unforgettable character of Margaret Quinn, the matriarch of the Quinn family. Margaret is now one of my all-time favorite Hilderbrand characters.

Here is the order of the novels:

1. Winter Street, 2014

2. Winter Stroll, 2015

3. Winter Storms, 2016

4. Winter Solstice, 2017

I highly recommend this festive series! You are lucky, as I was, that you don’t have to wait a year for the next book! They are all available in many different formats. Each novel is roughly 250 pages long, with only Winter Solstice at 305 pages. I hope you will spend part of your holiday with the Quinns in Nantucket!
