Are you having one of those “I Don’t Know What We are Having for Dinner” moments? Try these Toasty Florida Subs! This is such a simple recipe, and you may have most of the ingredients in your fridge right now!
Toasty Florida Subs
Ingredients:
- Rolls or sub loaf (I have used brioche rolls and King’s Hawaiian Rolls. They are not yeast-free.)
- Garlic Expressions dressing
- Publix Maple Turkey (deli meat)
- Publix Swiss Cheese (deli)
- Sliced tomato
- Shredded lettuce
- Dried Oregano
- Any other toppings you might enjoy such as mustard, mayo and/or bread & butter pickles
Instructions:
- Line a baking tray with foil. Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Cut open your bread and drizzle with Garlic Expressions. Place turkey on top and then a slice of Swiss.
- Toast in the oven for 5 minutes or so. Top with tomato, lettuce, a sprinkle of oregano, more dressing or additional toppings.
- Enjoy!
I adapted this quick dinner recipe from Courtney Holsworth’s A Life From Scratch Instagram page. She has many variations of this recipe that her family enjoys. Serve the Toasty Florida Subs with Crunchy Slaw and you have a delicious dinner that can be made in under 30 minutes!
Enjoy!
