The Last Party is the first book in the series ‘DC Morgan’ by Clare Mackintosh. It is a fantastic thriller/murder mystery. Rhys Lloyd threw a huge New Year’s Eve party and invited most of their small town. The next morning, Lloyd is found dead. Practically everyone who was at the party is a suspect.
This was such a fun book to read. Not only are the detectives Leo Brady and Detective Constable Ffion Morgan entertaining, they have their own secrets. There are many twists and turns in this book.
There is a lot of buzz about Clare Mackintosh’s 2nd book in the series, A Game of Lies. I’m so excited to read that book.
