Sloan was married to Richard, a U.S. Senator, for years until his death. She quickly remarries Whit, another U.S. Senator. Sloane suffers from a chronic illness, so Whit hires Athena to help around the home.The novel takes a turn and the characters start to show their true colors.
This novel is a great summer listen or read (I listened to the book). Enjoy!
