The Husbands by Holly Gramazio is a mix of humorous fiction, magical realism and romance. It is Ms. Gramazio’s debut novel, and it has gotten a lot of buzz. Single Lauren comes home after a night out and is greeted by a man. Her apartment is decorated differently, and she comes to the realization that the man is her husband. Thus begins this novel about unlimited choices and how to navigate them. I wish the novel didn’t have such an abrupt ending, but overall it is funny and makes you think.
