I really enjoyed Three Days in June by Anne Tyler. The book is short and sweet and follows main character, Gail, as she navigates her daughter’s wedding over the course of three days in June. The wedding weekend begins with Gail receiving some startling news about her job. Then there are issues with her ex-husband, Max, who will be at the ceremony. Then there is a situation with her daughter, Debbie, and her fiancé. The book is thoughtfully written as the author explores the past, present and future of the characters. Very thought-provoking and highly recommended.
