What Are You Reading?

This was a great month of reading.  I can honestly say that I enjoyed all of the books this month.  I'm so excited to share with you the books I completed in October!  Check back on previous blogs (What Are You Reading October 17, What Are You Reading October 26) for more information on each book.

So, what am I currently reading?  I have read 62% of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the second book in the series.  I'm trying to fulfill a goal of mine to read all of the Harry Potter books.  I mean if my students could read books 1-4 twice while waiting for book 5 to come out, I should be able to read each book once!  They are as delightful for adults as they are for children.

I am also reading Love Does: Discover a Secretly Incredible Life in an Ordinary World by Bob Goff.  This book is nonfiction about this incredible man, Bob Goff.  He has done some amazing things in his life, and his friends begged him to write a book.  Each chapter is a new story, and some make me laugh out loud!  The stories also show that his faith is real.  Bob believes in action, as the title says, Love Does.  This book was on the New York Times Bestsellers List, as was the sequel, Everybody, Always: Becoming Love in a World Full of Setbacks and Difficult People.

Great book!
